Future Projections
Currently based in Baltimore Maryland, Inside The Culture plans to expand to other cities with diverse black populations (i.e. Inside The Culture: Atlanta). There will be spinoff shows, TV specials and documentaries based on the black subcultures highlighted in the series. To increase visibility, celebrities with active connections to these unique black subcultures will also be featured.
Distribution & Promotion
Inside The Culture is projected to air locally on Maryland Public Television (MPT) where it would be presented to PBS for national distribution. It may also stream on mpt.org. The letter of intent from MPT is viewable upon request.
Each episode will be accompanied by a 30 day social media promo campaign including daily posts, reels and stories on major platforms. During those 30 days, there will also be email promotions and physical displays at events and throughout the city.
Crew
The production of Inside The Culture is supervised by BCU staff and crewed by students of the Baltimore Cinematic Universe's workforce development program. Students progress through specialized tracks of study that prepare them for key roles in the show's production.
BCU staff and their productions partners also mentor students of the program during the show’s production. This ensures quality control as well as personalized on-the-job training. Students are then able to use the skills and TV credits they’ve acquired to further their careers.

Letter From The Producer
“Thank you for your interest in Inside The Culture. This is a true labor of love for me because I went on a right of passage in the TV industry for the sole purpose of bringing knowledge and resources back home to empower my community.
I’ve dedicated the remainder of my career to serving the community that raised me, and I see no better way to do that than to preserve their legacies on screen.
With Inside The Culture, I can not only give agency to some of the communities that need it the most, but I can also mentor and provide jobs to people from those same communities.
Please consider supporting the show as an underwriter, champion or simply a viewer. Your support makes a world of difference in bringing these necessary stories to light.”
